Notes:

I have just finished my third year of studies at the RCS, under the tutelage of Peter Dykes (RSNO) and Stephen West (ex Cor-Anglais, RSNO).

My teaching is relaxed and enjoyable, and I can plan lessons to suit your needs- whether it be progressing through the grades, or just playing for fun! The oboe is a beautiful instrument, and I enjoy working with my pupils to make the best sound possible so that they can enjoy playing- be it in solo performances, as part of small chamber groups or even in larger ensembles and orchestras across Scotland.

I have been a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland since September 2016 and I have also had various orchestral experiences with the RSNO, SCO, BBC Symphony Orchestra and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. I have also performed with the Young Musicians' Symphony Orchestra in London, and abroad in the International Lutoslawski Youth Orchestra.

In addition, I also undertook piano second-study as part of my first year at the RCS, as well as a further piano accompaniment module, so am able to accompany graded exams up to grade 3/4.

I am available throughout term time and can be very flexible to suit your needs. I currently teach from my flat in Wallace Street, which is just a 10 minute walk from Glasgow Central station.

You can either contact me on: 07731 881524, or [email protected]

I look forward to hearing from you!
