Notes:

My music making has extended from Bach to Bryan Ferry and beyond, working as a freelance violinist in London, and touring Europe and the U.S.
I've been teaching and music leading for over 30 years, teaching in South Devon for 6 years, and have drawn on my experience of working in a range of musical genres.
I've always endeavoured to make learning an instrument fun and accessible whether teaching groups of beginners or individuals in schools, leading a Saturday Music Club for disabled children and those on the autistic spectrum, coaching youth ensembles or encouraging adult beginners and returnees.
I'm happy to prepare those wanting to take exams, but equally happy to encourage learning an instrument for fun, and to promote group music making, organising opportunities to play with other learners (adult and children's groups) from time to time.
