Notes:

I specialise in Jazz drumming but have experience in all music settings! (metal, pop, rock, latin, big band etc). This has put me into lots of different playing situations, performing at venues such as: O2 Arena, Amsterdam Blue Note, BIMHUIS, ArcTanGent Festival, The Forum, The Fleece, Moles, Wilshire Live Music Centre and The Dora Soutzker Concert Hall, to name a few.

I have attended multiple drum kit and recording master classes. (Nate Smith, Mark Guiliana, Mark Johnston, Jeff Ballard, Ari Hoenig) Also studied with professional drummer Robert Brian for the past 4 years (Siouxie Sioux, Goldfrapp, Laura Pausini, Simple Minds, Innes Sibun, Loreena McKennitt). I currently study with Joshua Blackmore (RAM Graduate, Bill Lawrence). James Maddren (Jacob Collier, Seamus Blake,
Gwilym Simcock and Kit Downes Trio). Martin France (RAM & RWCMD Tutor). Ian Bellamy, Huw Warren and Paula Gardiner also teach my ensemble classes.

I encourage my students to become musicians instead of just drummers. Incorporating music theory into lessons and teaching an understanding of other instruments.

I have a space to teach out of in my home, however, I am perfectly happy to travel anywhere within a couple of miles for no extra cost:) As a student at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, I have access to the practise spaces so if you think this might be a better learning environment for you, please let me know.

Skype lessons are also a possibility.

I also teach lessons in music technology. I am proficient in sound recording and have spent hundreds of hours on Logic Pro x working on various projects. If you would like some examples of my work as an audio engineer, please feel free to text me.
