Notes:
I am an experienced teacher, accompanist and choir director, and a first class graduate of the University of Huddersfield, where I majored in solo piano performance under the tutelage of Sally Ann Macleod. I am a recommended tutor at Huddersfield New College, where I have also delivered performance masterclasses. I have accompanied choirs and soloists, for rehearsals and performances, and for ABRSM and Trinity examinations.
I welcome students of all ages and abilities, and lessons are focussed on students' goals and interests, to ensure that learning is engaging, enjoyable and rewarding, whether preparing for exams, or working towards students' own targets and aims. Lessons at my home are taught on an expertly maintained Yamaha U1 piano, as used by many teachers, professionals and academic institutions, and I use a diverse range of resources to suit individuals' learning styles.
