Keeping Children Safe in Music is the latest in the EduCare's series of distance learning courses on child protection. The training programme uses short films to show a variety of good and bad practice examples, which will be available to watch online. It will help anyone teaching music to children gain a better understanding of their child protection responsibilities, and avoid situations that could lead to accusations of misconduct.

Genre/Style(s): Any style!
Ability Levels: Beginners to Advanced

Having recently graduated with a degree in trombone performance, I have lots of performance experience playing with orchestras, brass bands, wind bands, brass quintets, trombone quartets, contemporary music ensembles and more. I believe that music provides opportunities to learn a wide range of skills.

Whilst at the Conservatoire, I took part in training schemes with the CBSO and the Birmingham Royal Ballet Sinfonia. I also have experience performing in small ensembles and won the Bernard Brown Brass Ensemble Prize in my third and fourth year at University.

I can teach all ages (suggested minimum age 8), standards and styles.

I travel to you in the Birmingham area (based in Edgbaston).

I look forward to meeting you.
