I am an experienced qualified teacher and performer. I work with both students in mainstream settings as well as students with Special Educational Needs as well as mainstream students. I currently work in Special School as Music Teacher 3 days a week, teaching music, music technology, and communication and social skills through creative radio.

As an experienced teacher and workshop leader for all ages and abilities, I take a strongly facilitative approach and I work with students to identify personal goals. These goals may be to take exam grades, to play with friends, or to learn a specific music style.

I teach using a variety of methods tailored to the needs of individual students, including elements of Kodaly, Suzuki, and Dalcroze methods.

Above all I believe learning is fun, and I help students to reach their goals and to enjoy the unique experience of making music.
