As an active bandleader and sideman on the UK jazz scene, my performance highlights have included the following:
Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, Kansas Smitty's, Jazz Cafe Camden, BBC Proms 2016, Jazz In The Round (JazzFM), Symphony Hall Birmingham & the EFG London Jazz Festival.
I hold a BMus(Hons) Jazz Guitar degree (first-class honours) and I am currently completing Masters in jazz performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance. My professional experience in musical theatre, studio recording and contemporary music practice further highlight my versatility as a musician. I believe these qualities shape my unique and strong set of teaching skills.
Whether you are a beginner or more experienced player, I will be able to adapt my teaching methods to suit your own personal goals and interests.
I am a featured tutor for the Associated Board for the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) on their new online education platform, Journeys. I also teach 1to1 lessons, group guitar and ukelele in schools, rhythm workshops and specialist music workshops for toddlers and babies. I have also worked with A level music students, and have helped actor/musicians with successful auditions to their respective higher institutions.
My experience has been shaped through working with respected organisations such as the Cheltenham Festivals, Musicate, Becky Dell Music Academy, Stretto Music and Boppin' Bunnies.

I accept cash payment per lesson (with receipt) or bank transfer in block payment.
