Australian James Fisher has been a woodwind teacher for over 10 years and has taught beginner to advanced level students of any age on a variety of instruments. James mainly focuses on the ABRSM syllabus in the U.K. but is also committed to tailoring lesson plans to suit the desires and skillset of the students to allow them to gain the most out of their lessons, whether it is for ABRSM grades of for leisure. His friendly and approachable manner is one of the many qualities that has enabled James to have a successful teaching career over many years. James has played bassoon peofessionally with many top UK orchestras such as City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and as Guest Principal Bassoon with the BBC Symphony Orchestra. James is currently a bassoonist with the Southbank Sinfonia and is based in the Brixton area.
