In under six months, Alison has already taken my alto sax playing to new levels. She has super teaching skills for all players including more mature pupils like myself. In Alison I have found a teacher who encourages me, is sympathetic to my particular needs, for example, jazz improvisation, but she definitely won't let me cut corners. From finding practising a bit of a chore, I now look forward to regular sessions and have even been encouraged to spend time learning the tenor, as well.

Alison has been teaching my son clarinet for the last six months. After initially having lost his desire to practice/progress Alison has reignited his desire to play and also boosted his confidence in his playing. An amazing teacher. Highly recommended.

Very patient and fun tutor! As an older student I was very nervous but Alison has put me at ease. Alison has also given me the skills and confidence to play in public. Really enjoying my saxophone journey.

As a fellow Music educator, Alison is one of the most dedicated and talented music professionals I know in the West Midlands area. Her abundance of natural talent and past experience as an outstanding secondary school teacher (PGCE/QTS) transcends to her music making and Music teaching. For sustained outstanding musical provision, Alison is the teacher for your child.

Having grown up with Alison I can testify to her immense passion for playing the clarinet and saxophone. She is highly educated and articulate and sure to be a great instructor to many young musicians with a modern syllabus - she loves the funky music!
