Ph.D (Leeds) in music composition.
M.Mus. in composition and music analysis.
BA in Music.
PGCE in adult education. |

Viola, violin, music theory, harmony, composition. Help with GCSE, A level and degree level music. |

Classical and popular music. I can teach composition and song writing in any style. I am happy to teach adult pupils too.
For degree-level work I charge £35 per hour. |

Notes:
I am a composer and performer. My compositions and arrangements sell around the world, and I have had several pieces performed at The Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, Aldeburgh Music Festival etc. I was taught the viola by Max Gilbert at the Royal Academy of Music. I have been the head of music in various colleges in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire teaching A level music and music technology and BTEC ND Popular Music. I have also taught at Saturday morning music centres. I have a current DBS Certificate.
