Notes:
Hi, my name is Will Talbot, and I’ve been learning the piano for 20 years. I’m very much still learning all the time. I’m 26 years old and I play a mixture of jazz, rock, pop and classical music.
I came to Leeds in 2008 to study jazz piano at Leeds College of Music, and I’m still here. Originally I come from Gloucestershire.
Two years ago I decided I’d like to live on a boat, so I built and fitted out a narrowboat called Zoë, and just about managed to get an upright piano inside. That’s where most of the teaching happens.
I provide a holistic approach to teaching piano, and music in general. Understanding the mechanics of music can only take you so far, so developing a passion for what you play is an incredibly important part of enjoying music, and helping to motivate practice.
So please do call or email, and drop by for a free welcome session and we can see where to go from.
