An inspiring and dynamic teacher with over twenty years experience teaching and performing.

The challenges and rewards of making music are immense. My aim is to tailor an approach to each individual so that every student can not only develop the necessary skills but also the enthusiasm for the challenge. Whether that means mastering a tricky passage or getting to grips with the theory that underpins all music, my goal is to get the student to love the journey.

My own musical career began playing French Horn with the Sydney Symphony and Australian Chamber Orchestra at the Sydney Opera House. I then began working as a conductor and I have been fortunate enough to work with many of the world's great soloists and orchestras - the London Philharmonic, Sydney Symphony, Stuttgart Radio, Philharmonia, Royal Philharmonic etc.

And many of the top educational institutions such as the Royal College of Music, Trinity Laban School of Music and Dance, Royal Northern College of Music, Australian National Academy of Music, National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain etc.

I hope you'll contact me and see how I might help you with your musical challenges!
