Sarah-Ann undertook Birmingham Conservatoire's Opera Course and whilst studying she was awarded the Oratorio prize and Birmingham Music Festival's recital prize. After graduating she sang in the critically acclaimed Othello directed by Graham Vick and Maestro Stephan Barlow which was recognised in the Classical Oscars, the RPS Awards and was aired on BBC2. Sarah-Ann has performed Stravinsky's The Wedding with Birmingham Opera Company, Carmen and The Magic Flute with Co-Opera and is presently touring The Mikado (Pitti Sing) with Opera Anywhere.

Other achievements include an audience with the Japanese embassy, performances alongside Thomas Trotter, Catherine Bott and Rhydian, international performances in Paris and Slovenia and solo oratorio work with Birmingham Festival Choral Society, Ludlow Choral Society, Birmingham Choral, Nidderdale, Leaminginton, Ripon and the Montgomery Festival.

In 2012 Sarah-Ann launched her tour: Diva Gigs: A week in the life of a Diva. Her recital received four star reviews and she was nominated for Buxton Fringe Festivals best solo vocal award and was awarded 'Spirit of the Fringe'.

Sarah-Ann is classical trained and has spent the past decade learning the physiology of pop, belt and theatre voice. She works with final year GCSE/BTEC and 6th form dancers, pop musicians, music theatre and song writer students who are preparing for college and university auditions. She teaches singing at Wolverhampton Classical music and Music theatre course and works as a vocal coach/conductor with BTFI the arts-based Learning and Development Consultancy.
