Waiting list only. Cello/piano and ABRSM preparation. Private general academic tutor. Students accepted from 4 years of age for Mini Music makers and piano lessons with some theory, puzzles and aural games. Kirstin is an experienced EYFS and primary music teacher who also offers semi-private music lessons: Mini Music-makers is a fun 50 minute group lesson (subject to availability) for up to three young children of similar age or ability incorporating general musicianship/singing/developing keyboard skills/improvisation and exploring musical sounds (£25 per 50 minute session).
Experienced instrumentalist who has performed as a soloist and as principal cellist in various orchestras and chamber groups extensively in Europe, America and China. Coaches at degree, post-graduate performance and professional level (cello only).
Highly qualified academic classroom teacher at both primary and secondary levels having been a Director of Music at a Specialist Performing Arts status school in London and academic music specialist in both state and private sector schools.
Project specialisms include cross curricular links (Maths and English), behaviour for learning (not a silent compliance), learning to learn. Private tuition to support reading, literacy and develop skills in English, Maths and Science as required.
