James is an experienced and dedicated musician who has always been passionate about creating music and having fun at the same time.

His education ranges from a GCSE in Music, B-Tech National Diploma in Music, a BA Hons at Brunel University and a PGCE In secondary school music teaching (Masters Equivalent).

James instruments are Guitar,Bass and Piano.
His bass playing is influenced strongly by John Patitucci and Victor Wooten, he currently plays 6 string Bass and specializes in Jazz, Soul, Funk and Jazz-Fusion.

His guitar playing varies from acoustic nylon flamenco sounds to electric rock or jazz. He is influenced by Stanley Jordan, Paco de Lucía, Frank Gambale.

James has been specializing in the piano over the last few years learning to play in the jazz tradition taking great influence from jazz players such as Erroll Garner, Bill Evans and Oscar Peterson.

James has been teaching in a comprehensive secondary school just outside London from 2011 to 2013 in a full time music teacher post. He has been teaching privately at students homes for the last 6 years and has developed a wide range of resources to share and explain.
