Notes:
Music has been a huge part of my life since primary school and it has given me huge enjoyment and many exciting opportunities. Music performance is an enriching skill that benefits all areas of education I'm very keen to pass onto others.
I passed my ABRSM Grade 8 flute whilst doing my A-levels and went on to study Music, specialising in flute performance, at Newcastle University. During my degree I also spent a year abroad studying flute in Italy. Currently I work as Orchestral Librarian for the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic.
I can teach flute to Grade 6 level, Music Theory to Grade 5 and beginner saxophone. I have a relaxed yet structured teaching style, my main aim being that every student enjoys the experience of learning, and gets as much out of playing as possible.
