Keeping Children Safe in Music is the latest in the EduCare's series of distance learning courses on child protection. The training programme uses short films to show a variety of good and bad practice examples, which will be available to watch online. It will help anyone teaching music to children gain a better understanding of their child protection responsibilities, and avoid situations that could lead to accusations of misconduct.

Notes:

London-based music tuition for Drums & Percussion, Guitar, Ukulele and Music Theory from £30 per hour.

I have been teaching privately and in schools for the last 7 years, most recently at Smallberry Green Primary School in Isleworth and at West Ashtead Primary School in Ashtead, Surrey.

I have had the privilege of working with students from a wide range of different backgrounds and ages, from 4-45, and have developed a strong understanding of how best to tailor my lessons to meet the bespoke needs of each of my tutees.

I teach a variety of music both casually and graded (Trinity Guildhall, Trinity Rock & Pop or Rockschool) which include Guitar, Drums/ Percussion, Ukulele & Music Theory.

As a teacher I always set out to find the most enjoyable and effective method of learning for each and every one of my students. I offer a free introductory lesson so that we can get to know each other and set out the goals you want to achieve from the very start.

I have a strong belief that an open and welcoming approach to learning your instrument is the most beneficial way of bettering yourself and ensuring a bright and enduring interest in music going forward.

Whether it be casual, graded or specific techniques you desire to learn, I will provide a fun and interactive lesson plan whilst teaching what I feel to be at least the essential basics of music theory, all the while encouraging your own rehearsal schedule in order to gain the best possible results together.

Please donít hesitate to get in touch or ask me any questions!

I look forward to hearing from you.
Many thanks,

Thomas
