Keeping Children Safe in Music is the latest in the EduCare's series of distance learning courses on child protection. The training programme uses short films to show a variety of good and bad practice examples, which will be available to watch online. It will help anyone teaching music to children gain a better understanding of their child protection responsibilities, and avoid situations that could lead to accusations of misconduct.

Notes:

Whether you want to simply sing for fun, improve technique or take examinations - I will tailor my lessons to suit each individual student to ensure you get exactly what you want from your singing lessons.

I believe lessons should be full of fun, and at the same time you should always come away from a lesson having learned something new.

(Please note, I currently have no slots available for adult students)

Why not try a group class? Pop choir for ages 8-16 runs every Friday 5-6pm at Hatch End Free Church, Rowlands Avenue HA5 4DF. Run by Little Acorns Theatre Academy and taught by Laura Mott. Pop choir will focus on an array of different vocal techniques and confidence building, including breathing, clarity and diction, facial expression, harmonies, solos and movement whilst singing. Children will focus on various current pop songs and will have the opportunity to sing in Little Acorns singing concerts. Students will learn how to look after their voices and will learn a variety of different warm ups to aid this. This class will be a fun, high energy lesson, and will also incorporate elements of music theory ensuring every child learns something new each week.
