Notes:

Benjamin has over a decade and a half of experience, having taken up the trumpet at a very young age. Subsequent to his enrolment in the Leicestershire Arts in Education organisation aged eleven, he became a member of numerous bands and orchestras. This nurtured a passion for music that culminated in a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from the University of Huddersfield, with a specialisation on the trumpet.

Whilst attending university he engaged with numerous styles and ensembles, experiencing wind bands, orchestras, brass bands, contemporary groups and choirs. Performing with intimate chamber groups including both a trumpet and barbershop quartet served as inspiration for the formation of the Argento Brass quintet.

As a brass teacher I constantly try to develop a better and more understandable way to pass on my experience so as to inspire would be brass players. I have had over 7 years of experience teaching brass instruments and can take students through the ABRSM syllabus from just starting out to getting into Music College. Not all students have that as their goal but the level required to get in can be achieved by anyone through practice and guidance. Music lessons are tailored carefully to the needs of the student, drawing on their strengths and improving their weaknesses, with both solo and group activities available the student can improve all aspects of their life through music and community involvement.

Ben can teach any Brass instrument from beginners to University admission he is fully DBS checked and has up to date safeguarding training.
