AVAILABLE TO TAKE ON NEW PUPILS

Gabrielle Amelia Ridgeon is a composer, orchestrator, pianist, and musical director. Gabrielle has worked as an assistant to a number of composers and worked on her own original scores for mixed media.

Gabrielle is an experienced music teacher specialising in composition, music technology and also teaches music theory. Gabrielle established her own successful teaching practice in London and Hampshire as well as working for a county music service in Berkshire before relocating to the Bath/Bradford on Avon area.

Every private music lesson is completely bespoke and specifically tailored to the pupil in order for them to achieve what they would like from their lessons. Lessons are focused but always fun and Gabrielle is happy to teach all repertoire. Gabrielle has prepared pupils for exams and has a 100% pass rate (70% distinction), but she was initially taught by ear herself (through Suzuki) so really enjoys teaching improvisation and pupils who can't read music. Please contact Gabrielle for more information and we can chat about your requirements.

Gabrielle is also the founder and director of musical children's storybook series Monty the Maestro and his Marvellous Magical Orchestra and runs Making Music for Monty classes for nurseries and 4-5-year-olds.

Gabrielle runs Making Music with Monty workshops for schools, libraries, bookshops, and festivals. For further information on Monty the Maestro visit www.montythemaestro.com or follow @montythemaestro on Facebook or Instagram.
