Richard is a currently an Organist at St Mary’s Collegiate Church, Warwick, and a former organ scholar of Salisbury Cathedral. He is an experienced musician and teacher, having held a position at Salisbury Cathedral School. Richard is able to teach piano and music theory in the comfort of your own home.

Richard will teach anyone from beginners to advanced musicians, and is happy to guide pupils through the grades, or those just wishing to learn for pleasure. He teaches piano, organ and music theory, making the experience as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. For children, it is especially useful to be taught at home, as parents can hear first-hand what is being worked on in a lesson. This can help with preparation for the next lesson, as well as making for a personable experience for the student.

Richard is a friendly, approachable and reliable accompanist, who enjoys working to the desires of each musician to achieve the best possible performance.

Richard is much in demand as a soloist. He has performed solo recitals at Birmingham, Liverpool, Salisbury, Southwark and Westminster Cathedrals, as well as many high-profile churches. He has also given recitals in Spain and Holland, the latter of which was as prize from a residential organ course.
