Notes:

Professional classical soloist and chamber musician.
Experienced teaching beginner to advanced level.
All ages.

I have been teaching for six years in England and three years in France; privately, employed and on a self-employed peripatetic basis. My students have included children from both primary and secondary schools - I am experienced in teaching beginners and preparing students for ABRSM exams, but I am also able to teach a large repertoire for post-Grade 8/diploma and more advanced students, from Bach to contemporary composers, due to my own studies and experience as a concert violinist.

I can teach according to various methods if desired, such as Suzuki or Sevcik, and I can also teach the French musical method, solfège, in which I have a diploma from the Toulouse Conservatoire.

I take the improvement of my students very seriously and take great care to tailor my lessons to the different ambitions and goals of each student, whether that be a desire for a career in music or to play the violin as a hobby. With this in mind I have always sought to build a strong and positive relationship with parents as well as with students in order to create the best environment for myself and for the students.
