Notes:
I was classically trained from age 5 which has given me good technical grounding, but Scottish Fiddle music is my passion. This is evident in the way I teach and also play. My classes are fun and tailored to meet the individual goals of each of my students.
I teach the only fiddle class in the Edinburgh Council Adult Education Programme, the complete beginners class at the Scots Music Group, and also Private, one to one students. I also run external classes/workshops from time to time, and a residential fiddle retreat- Bealach Fiddle Retreat.
I am extremely active in my musical community and in my spare time when I’m not teaching or studying can usually be found playing my fiddle in one of the many music sessions in Edinburgh or in one of the 3 bands that I am a member of. I am also a member of The Scottish Fiddle Orchestra.
