Notes:

I'm an experienced, qualified musician / teacher who offers high quality lessons, but strives to make learning fun! I've held Director of Music posts in schools and colleges in Spain, England and Gibraltar. I prepare and enter pupils for ABRSM (Classical) and Trinity College (Rock and Pop) exams with 100% pass rate, most passing with Distinction or Merit. However, many of my pupils are learning for fun as a hobby and learn to play the type of music of their choice. I welcome pupils of all ages and abilities. Absolute beginners are particularly welcome! I teach from my home, or in the comfort of your own home, within a 20 mile radius of Lytham St. Anne's. I currently teach students in Blackpool, Lytham St. Anne's, Preston, Garstang and Leyland. Many of my pupils have gone on to study music at university and have become professional musicians as performers or teachers. One of my students, Peter Donegan ( Son of Lonnie Donegan, the famous 1950s /60s musician) recently appeared on television series " The Voice", playing keyboard whilst singing a duet with Sir Tom Jones.
Due to the current pandemic, full cleaning of piano keys and other areas touched by students will take place after each lesson. Hand sanitizers will also be in place for students and teacher, before and after each lesson. Face masks can also be used if requested.
