Notes:

I've taught piano across a 20 year period, and welcome new students ranging ages 6 yrs to 60. I've presented students for grade examinations (ABRSM), and can also take on students simply learning for leisure (including adults returning to playing after a break of years).

I studied for 3 years at the Royal Academy of Music (Virginia Black, professor of harpsichord): piano and harpsichord, including Masterclasses with Canadian virtuoso Kenneth Gilbert. Additionally, I studied at the Guildhall School of Music, composition (Gary Carpenter), oboe (Belinda Sykes).

I am also an experienced composer; works include choral music for Her Majesty's Chapel Royal, a Piano Concerto premiered by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and I have received commissions and performances across the UK and USA. I've worked with students at the RAM and King's College London, as well as having further professional, semi-pro, student and amateur orchestras performing my work.
