I am a professional harpist and clarsach player from the Isle of Skye. Influences on my playing are both deeply rooted in my upbringing - immersed in Scotland's Gaelic language and song - and in my classical and contemporary musical training.

Currently I am completing my Masters degree at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. in 2015 I graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester with a BMus (Hons) degree.

My pupils have gained successes at many competitions throughout the UK and Ireland, as well as consistently high distinction marks in their ABSRM exams.

I teach a mix of adults and children of all ages, and cover a wide range of abilities. I teach by ear as well as with music, therefore knowledge in reading music/music theory is not compulsory prior to beginning lessons, however I do incorporate theory tuition into lessons from the beginning.

I offer one-to-one lessons privately from home, and I also offer online (Skype) lessons.
