Notes:

I'm an experienced saxophone, clarinet, music theory and composition teacher based in Birmingham. I have previously taught saxophone and clarinet at St. George's School in Edgbaston and currently teach composition at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Junior Department.

I am very happy to teach adults as well as children and tailor my teaching towards the individual. Whether you want to prepare for graded music exams, learn for fun or improve your technique so you can start your own band then I can help!

I am fully DBS checked and teach all ages and abilities. If you need advice about buying or hiring your first saxophone or clarinet then please get in touch.

I studied saxophone performance and music composition at Birmingham Conservatoire where I graduated with First Class honours and the Bachelor of Music Prize in 2015. I then completed a masters in music at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague in The Netherlands. I have performed across the UK and Europe so have plenty of experience I can share with potential students.

I have previously completed the New Horizons Teacher Training Course run by Quench Arts and Birmingham Music Service. I also completed studies in Further Pedagogy at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and Leading and Guiding at Royal Conservatoire of The Hague.

I normally teach in my home teaching room near Moseley, Birmingham, but am currently taking enquiries about teaching in students own homes. Do get in touch for more info.
