Having graduated from The Royal Academy of Music and University of Cambridge, I have worked as an Accompanist at Chetham's School of Music for the last seven years, alongside teaching privately. My performing experience includes recitals in the Wigmore Hall, St James' Piccadilly, and music club clubs and societies throughout the UK and Europe. I have accompanied instrumentalists in BBC Young Musician and Yehudi Menuhin Competitions, as well as broadcast on BBC Radio 3. I have been invited to be a member of the faculty of Chetham's International Piano Summer School annually from 2010. Previously I was Head of Keyboard and Accompanist in Residence at Stowe School from 2005-2009. I have recently moved to York and am looking to find enthusiastic and dedicated students who love music! I teach all levels, from beginner to conservatoire students, as well as adults. If you wish to take examinations, I have much experience and success entering students for them, but I recognise that each student has different learning goals and I tailor my teaching appropriately to the individual. My teaching piano is a Kawai grand, and I have recently joined EPTA.
