Instruments: Singing - Beginner to Advanced

I offer tuition and coaching in all styles - although my specialist area is Classical & Opera, my techniques cover Pop, Musical Theatre and Jazz. I am very approachable. Although we will have fun in the lessons I will push you, within set boundaries, in order to achieve the right results.

That said I encourage my students and always nurture them. I strive to provide a relaxed yet focused environment where you will fulfil your potential.

I enjoy teaching at all levels regardless of ability or experience, however I do not teach children under the age of 11 (around secondary school age).
Genre/Style(s): Classical, opera, pop, musical theatre, jazz or crossover
Ability Levels: Beginners to Advanced

Vocally I enjoyed enormous success when as a child, I won the last ever RSCM Choirboy of the Year competition. This led to countless appearances as soloist at renowned venues such as The Barbican, The Royal Albert Hall, St John's Smith Square, Houses of Parliament and TV and Radio broadcasts such as Songs of Praise. I was one of the first performers to feature on Classic FM and recorded 4 CDs during this period.

In my present career, I have had the pleasure of working with prolific Musicians and Directors such as Sir Charles Mackerras (dec'd), Suzi Digby OBE, Terry Edwards, David Hill, Howard Blake, Robert Hollingworth, Mary King, Stuart Barr, Helen Yorke, William McVicker, Stephen Jackson & Andrew Sinclair, singing with the BBC Singers and Royal Opera House chorus in concerts and performances in and around London. I regularly sing with some of the leading London church choirs such as St Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Westminster Cathedral & Southwark Cathedral and hold a regular position as 'Gentleman of the Chapel Royal Choir' at Hampton Court Palace.
