Notes:

I am a professional violinist and violin teacher, and have been teaching privately in London for five years. I teach both the violin and the viola and enjoy teaching students from beginner-grade 8.

Having trained at the Junior Royal Academy's 'First String Experience', I have particular experience with children, and like to generate a creative and discovery-like atmosphere in the lessons.

As well as a thorough technical grounding, aural and theory skills play an integral part in the lessons to always provide a rounded musical approach. I encourage all of my students to perform regularly, and hope to nurture in them a love for making music. I must also say I am a stickler for regular practice!

I am a classically trained violinist, and I perform regularly as an orchestral and chamber player. I draw on this in my teaching, and have experience in coaching chamber groups and orchestral sections, and for the last three years I have been an undergraduate violin teacher at Kings College London.
