Child Protection Course:
Completed Educare child protection training course. (more)
Keeping Children Safe in Music is the latest in the EduCare's series of distance learning courses on child protection. The training programme uses short films to show a variety of good and bad practice examples, which will be available to watch online. It will help anyone teaching music to children gain a better understanding of their child protection responsibilities, and avoid situations that could lead to accusations of misconduct.

Music is a gift! Throughout my life, I have been fortunate to be inspired by numerous talented musicians and continue to find joy and a sense of well-being in it. For that, I am truly thankful.

From 1999 to 2003, I studied singing and performance at Trinity College of Music, London with Omar Ebrahim, Sophie Grimmer and Linda Hirst. After graduation, I completed a PGCE at Homerton College, Cambridge before embarking upon a career in the classroom gaining additional qualifications for supporting and leading special educational needs.

Nevertheless, the desire to inspire others to find a love of music has allowed me to continue performing and teach singing and percussion privately as well as at performing arts schools. With over 10 years of teaching experience, successful students have achieved music scholarships for a variety of private colleges and independent performing arts schools in addition to going on to further post 18 study at music colleges.

If you have a passion for music, studying will improve memory, build confidence and teach patience!
