Ms Mimi Jasson BMus (Hons)


Mimi Jasson is a pianist from Toronto, Canada and graduated from the BMus Music program at Goldsmiths, University of London in 2017, with a first in performance. She is classically trained, but also specializes in contemporary piano works, most recently with performances of Relent by Graham Fitkin, 3 Preludes by Laurence Crane and Piano Piece IV by Frederic Rzewski. She also managed and played pieces for a contemporary composers collective, and a group of pianists, whom performed exclusively multi-keyboard works (ie: Steve Reich: Six Pianos). Mimi has had masterclasses with Graham Fitkin, Laurence Crane, Andrew Zolinsky and Danny Driver regarding research and playing contemporary works. In December 2017, Mimi and colleague Francis Devine, performed the London premiere of Graham Fitkin's double piano concerto, Circuit. Mimi now teaches piano and bass guitar privately, and in a secondary school.
