Notes:
I teach singing, piano and music theory to pupils of all ages. Lessons are available at my home in the Finniestoun area of Glasgow, just off Argyll st.
Lessons are tailored towards pupil’s needs and musical tastes, whether that’s classical, jazz, musical theatre, contemporary or a mixture of styles. Pupils can learn just for fun or to work towards qualifications from ARBSM and other similar exam boards, or in preparation for SQA Nationals and Highers, or GCSEs and A-levels.
I also have experience of working with students with learning difficulties including visual impairment, autistic spectrum disorder and dyslexia.
I am a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme, and when my work takes me to England I hold the equivalent DBS (formerly CRB) certificate. I am also a member of the Incorporpated Society of Musicians, the ISM.
I have an undergraduate degree in music awarded in 2013 by Bath Spa University, and a master's degree in music performance (vocal studies) awarded in 2016 by the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
