Drum Kit pupils have 148 graded exam passes at grades 1-8.

Many pupils are now drum teachers themselves.

A professional drummer/drum teacher based in South Wales, I've played drums for a long time, more than 31 years - been professional for 18 years.

Currently you'll find me teaching drums at Only Drums Aloud Studio Central Cardiff, Only Drums Aloud, Newport, Hannah's Music Shop Chepstow and as a visiting teacher for Cardiff Music Service.

As well as one to one drum kit tuition I also teach post Grade 8 and Degree level courses, Afro-Latin percussion (one to one and classes) , Rock Band and Songwriting workshops.

As a freelancer I also play a lot of shows every year covering a wide spectrum of music.

Love vintage drums and enjoy repairing and renovating old kits as well as building my own custom drums

Enjoy Rudimental style snare drumming and enjoy learning and teaching old calls and demonstration pieces from the Napoloenic and American Civil War eras.

Currently learning Bodhran and Djembe
