Notes:
I started taking private guitar lessons when my family relocated to the Isle of Arran, Scotland in 1994 when I was 11. Throughout high school I advanced in music by performing and recording with popular local bands. In 2000, I left Arran for the "big smoke" and spent a couple of years studying music theory and performance at The Guitar Institute in London.
However, I decided London wasn't where my heart lay and since returning have collaborated in sessions/projects with the likes of Mick MacNeil (Simple Minds), David Spillane (Moving Hearts), Iain Murray (ex-Capercaillie), Johnny Miles (New York Session Drummer), Iain Winters (N.E.U.K), Jerry Jablonski and many more.
I've also been fortunate enough to support on the tours of Beverley Knight, Westlife, Wet Wet Wet and Amy MacDonald to name a few.
Additionally, I've been studying vocals for over ten years drawing from great teachers such as Brett Manning and Ken Tamplin.
