Biography

After graduating from university in 2004 Rebecca went directly into teaching within the music department of a local college in Middlesbrough, working with the vocal students on the BTEC Popular Music course. After relocating to the south of the country in 2005 Rebecca continued teaching within the FE sector in both music and performing arts departments where she specialised in delivering musical theatre courses, vocal tuition and dance. In addition to teaching in further education Rebecca has also taught music in primary schools, held numerous dance and vocal workshops in schools and clubs throughout Hampshire and Devon, taught in theatre schools and is currently working on building both an adult and youth community choir in Portsmouth.<br /><br />

As part of her teaching role Rebecca has also directed and choreographed many full scale productions including Blues Brothers, We Will Rock You, Chicago and Little Shop of Horrors and Pirates of Penzance, to name but a few.<br /><br />
<br /><br />
Alongside teaching Rebecca is a professional vocalist and has been performing in duos, trios and function bands for over a decade.<br /><br />
<br /><br />
Rebecca has a passion for teaching and is committed to developing the individual students skills and nurture their talents. Rebecca has been teaching from her home based studio since relocating to Southsea in 2009.
