For me, teaching is listening.

Each individual pupil is unique, and I enjoy responding to their specific passions and needs with the best of my ability and wide-ranging experience.

I teach beginners to more advanced pupils, ABRSM exam prep and everything in between, and will happily discuss any aspect of lessons to find what best suits your focus.

Over the past fourteen years, alongside composing for leading British orchestras and musicians (BBC Philharmonic / Philharmonia etc), touring the world as a violinist and vocalist with pop, rock and folk acts (Lana del Rey / Bat For Lashes etc.) and working as Musical Director for major projects and brands (Louis Vuitton / Tate Britain), Iíve consistently held a teaching position, and for good reason. Itís such a privilege to tutor and mentor pupils of all ages and to encourage them to achieve their goals.

After six years studying Composition at the RNCM and RAM, in 2007 I took a year-long course in Creative Leadership at the RCM, which taught me how to compose collaboratively, and how to respond to people in the moment (Itís impossible to plan how you might react to the creative minds of a large group of seven-year-olds!)

Looking forward to hearing from you.
