My students range from beginners to advanced or returning players and include coaching for chamber groups. I teach towards a variety of goals, including ABRSM examinations and scholarship auditions, however, I am thrilled to also work with students who simply want to learn for enjoyment. I hope to pass on my enthusiasm for music, whilst providing a solid technical footing for students to advance securely.

I always work with my students whilst playing my own instrument, often playing duets together. I found this experience was an important guide in my own musical development and believe it to be the most valuable and enjoyable way to learn an instrument.

Tutoring prices are flexible based on teaching location.

I am also happy to guide cello beginners through the process of getting hold of their first instrument.
