Notes:

Classical guitar: I have played classical guitar since I was 15. My husband is also a guitarist and together we performed as a duo at Guitar Societies, Summer Schools and music clubs all over the country. We have many years of experience as teachers. I have taught at Blackheath Conservatoire, Eltham College, John Ball School, Meridian primary school and other local schools. I now teach at my home in Lee.
I teach children from the age of 7. Many children start around this age, and continue to play until they leave for university, by which time many of them have passed Grade 8 and are very good players. I also enjoy teaching adult students. Although many students choose to take Grade examinations, my aim is to encourage them to enjoy making music so that they continue to play and enjoy music throughout their lives.
Flute: I studied flute with Anne Hodgson, Linda Howarth and Holly Cook. I love the flute and its repertoire and enjoy playing duets with friends.
Recorder: I studied recorder with Sheila Kinsley, herself a student of Walter Bergman, one of the early enthusiasts in the revival of Early Music, particularly the recorder. I play all sizes of recorder, and have regularly played quartets with friends.
