Prices & Payment
As a member of the Musician's Union I charge in line with their rates at £15 for a half hour 1-2-1 lesson. Please note that I always allow at least 5 minutes between lessons for setting up and packing away, this ensures that you are getting 30 minutes of tuition time, if you are shopping around, please ask other potential teachers if they do the same. For advanced students I offer longer lessons. For the first few weeks until you are settled I operate a pay-as-you go cash/cheque policy. Once you have decided you want to continue lessons on a permanent basis I will ask you to sign up to a standard Musician's Union teaching contract and set up a monthly Standing Order which spreads the cost of term time lessons equally throughout the years. I will give you a sample copy of the contract to take home and read during your first lesson.
