Keeping Children Safe in Music is the latest in the EduCare's series of distance learning courses on child protection. The training programme uses short films to show a variety of good and bad practice examples, which will be available to watch online. It will help anyone teaching music to children gain a better understanding of their child protection responsibilities, and avoid situations that could lead to accusations of misconduct.

Jon is a qualified and experienced guitar tutor based in Oxfordshire. He has been teaching for over ten years people of all ages and abilities. His approach to lessons is to make them enjoyable and fun with a relaxed manner whilst at the same time pushing the students to reach their full potential. All lessons are tailored to the needs of the individual, ranging from total beginners to Grade examinations (including Diplomas) with all the leading examining boards such as ABRSM, Trinity, Rockschool etc. Jon is fully qualified and a graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music where he currently teaches, alongside schools across Oxfordshire, students ranging from 7-18 years old. He has also previously worked at Lancaster Community Music Centre teaching adults as well as people with special needs.
