Child Protection Course:
Completed Educare child protection training course. (more)
Keeping Children Safe in Music is the latest in the EduCare's series of distance learning courses on child protection. The training programme uses short films to show a variety of good and bad practice examples, which will be available to watch online. It will help anyone teaching music to children gain a better understanding of their child protection responsibilities, and avoid situations that could lead to accusations of misconduct.

I teach flute, music theory and beginner recorder online and from my home in Surrey.
I love teaching and my aim is that students develop a life long interest in music and learn to play their instrument well.
Students are entered for ABRSM and Trinity Guildhall examinations but I do not expect exams to be taken. I am very happy for pupils to learn purely for pleasure and self-development.
Most of my lessons are 1:1 and are currently online via FaceTime or Skype. Interactive online theory lessons are via Zoom.

D of E: Packages are available to enable fulfilment of the skill section of the D of E awards.

Theory: I am happy to teach theory to any instrumental player or vocalist as well as support those studying for GCSE Music.

Exam preparation includes the new online theory and performance exams.
