Substantial experience of 30+ years as soloist and accompanist and session musician across UK and abroad - especially on organ, piano, harpsichord and other keyboards but also on other instruments in the above list - playing for numerous individuals, folk and jazz bands of varying sizes and instrumental line-ups, orchestras and both smaller specialist choral groups, especially advanced professional / semi-professional cathedral, university college chapel and church choirs, both professional and amateur (but often accomplished and very capable) ensembles and larger choral societies, as well as with/for other instrumentalists and/or singers - and in various styles and genres (classical, jazz, traditional folk & popular), also both professional and amateur.
Various advanced diplomas with prizes from the Royal College of Organists and Associated Board.
All standards from complete beginners to Diploma level, and in classical, jazz and popular styles, mainly in towns listed and outlying areas but also across UK. Preparation and assistance are also available for practical and theory examinations of the principal music examining boards, especially for ABRSM Grade 5 theory (which is a long-time prerequisite qualification for entry to higher ABRSM practical grades), as well as for festivals and competitions, or for simply playing for pleasure.
Detailed and often substantial notes of what was covered in each session are sent to learners by e-mail, so that they have enough to work on between sessions as well as a point of reference to ensure continuity, and they can also get in contact with any musical queries or difficulties that they encounter in the meanwhile, which are answered as best as possible in the remote circumstances.
