Genre/Style(s): Learning to play Drums should be a hugely rewarding and enjoyable experience. That is why I tailor my lessons to suit individual needs to ensure that all my students have a fun and educational lesson in a friendly and professional environment.

Here are just some of the subjects that I cover in my lessons:

Music styles (Rock, Pop, Funk, Jazz, etc)

Rudiments (Vital for Drummers in any style)

Time-Keeping (Playing to a metronome and backing-tracks)

Techniques (Moellermotion, different types of stick grips, foot techniques)

The Art of Practice (How to keep motivated and find a practice regime that works best for you)

Music Notation (How to read and write Drum parts)

I can also teach Grades upon request

Leon has been a Drummer since the age of 12 years old and has been fortunate to have learnt the art of Drumming by some of the best players in East Anglia. He started teaching in 2011 as a way of passing on his knowledge to the next generation of musicians, offering a high standard of tuition in a professional and safe environment. The aims of his lessons are to promote creativity, confidence, expression and enjoyment.
