Tess is very passionate about music and has been playing music since a very young age. She has travelled across the world playing in various orchestras and performed at Weddings across the UK. She has also accompanied many students for their exams on the piano. Tess has gained a BA Music degree from the University of Southampton and a Masters Degree in Music Therapy from Anglia Ruskin University.

Tess has over 10 years experience teaching the piano, cello, trumpet and theory and has a 100% success pass rate in music examinations. She welcomes all ages and abilities, whether you are looking to progress through the examination route or learn to play the piano for your own enjoyment.

Tess teaches from her home only and tailors all of her lessons to the individual, depending on whether they want to work towards grading or just play for fun.

Tess is also a fully qualified and HCPC registered Music Therapist and has been working with children and adults with learning disabilities for over 5 years. Music Therapy seeks to enable communication and expression when words are hard to find. It is appropriate for people of all ages, backgrounds and issues including those with learning difficulties and mental health issues.
