Notes:
I am an experienced teacher of piano and music theory and continue to teach all age groups.
I believe I am an excellent theory teacher. If you are approaching a music theory test for any instrument - I will be able to give you the skills you need to pass.
As a pianist, I aim to combine versatility with experience. I have received many 1st prizes from local competitions, performed with the Halesowen Symphony Orchestra, accompanied many solo singers, choirs and played cocktail piano for several cruises around the Caribbean and Scandinavia. Locally, I have played in several restaurants around Birmingham and Worcestershire. .
I have taught ‘A’ Level Music at Halesowen College of Further Education, was a previous Chairman of the Birmingham Music Festival and currently teach piano at home and the Wombourne School of Music where students range in age from under 5 to over 60.
I have played for Barry Humphreys, Westlife, Eric Knowles and Max Bygraves.
