Biography

Regularly commuting to Italy to study with busy Tenor Maestro Marcello Merlini, Simon is in top form and has never been in better voice. Simon is a classically trained Spinto Tenor possessing a great range with a clear bright top C. His voice can be both powerful and delicate possessing rich colourful tones that are delivered with allure and passion.

With a wealth of experience in operetta and musicals he has amassed a large repertoire of songs, Neapolitan Folk songs, ballads and operatic arias. Over the last few years he has performed in and across the UK and Wales. In this last year he has performed in recitals and festivals across northern Italy in Verona, Sirmione, Brescia, Monzambano and Bienno. His most famous venue so far is London's Royal Albert Hall, where he was a principle tenor in a “Three Tenors Tribute” in 1999.

After receiving many individual requests, Simon studied a teaching diploma DipMusT in Singing which he passed with distinction. He is now busy teaching singing and vocal technique and is very popular with his students and is in great demand.
