Ability Levels: Beginners to Intermediate

Notes:

I am a trainee teacher at the University of Edinburgh and I strongly believe in tailoring learning to the individual in order for them to get the best possible experience when learning a new instrument.

I focus my teaching on the enjoyment of learning the piano and on musicality so that pupils have fun but also play with passion and feeling.

I studied for 2 years at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in piano and composition before embarking on a music degree at the University of Glasgow. I have performed in two Edinburgh Fringe concerts and have had a piece performed by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra; if pupils are interested in composition and theory, I can also teach them the basics of theory and using it for music making. I ran a music club for young adults with learning disabilities in Glasgow for a year.

I can teach beginners up to Grade 6 piano ages 5 upwards (including adults, children/adults with learning disabilities).

If you want to learn the piano and have fun doing it by learning how to play with feeling, then do not hesitate to get in touch!
