Ann teaches violin from beginners to Grade 8 to pupils of all ages. If pupils wish to take examinations Ann can take you through the ABRSM syllabus. If exams are not for you and you wish to play purely for pleasure Ann can accommodate you. Ann teaches all the violin skills and techniques necessary in order to have strong foundations on which to build and thereby become an independent player. Ann specialises in teaching classical violin methods.

The first lesson will vary according to age and experience. We will aim to begin to build a good rapport from the beginning. She will find out your other interests, hobbies and commitments and your aspirations.

Ann has played in local orchestras and many different ensembles over the years. Her favourite is quartet work! Ann has 35 years of violin teaching experience. She treats each pupil as an individual and moulds each lesson accordingly.
