Notes:

I am a passionate violinist, currently completely my final year of a BA (Hons) in Music. I currently play in the University of York Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra and Leeds Symphony Orchestra, and the Eboracum String Quartet, where we have played for BBC Radio, undertaken masterclasses with the Consone Quartet and Quator Diotima, and performed in Westminster Abbey. I have taken masterclasses with Simon Blendis from the Schubert Quartet and in 2017 I performed Bruch's Violin Concerto no. 2 in G minor in Oakham Chapel. I have participated in competitions such as the Nottingham Young Music of the Year Competition and BBC Songs of Praise School Choir Of the Year. I am based at the University of York, but travel is negotiableI have been teaching fully for one year now and I am experienced and confident working with both children and adults. I am approachable, organised and efficient, and fully DBS checked. Before teaching, I volunteered with music groups such as MEG, and in schools. My aim is to not only to teach but to inspire and allow others to share in my passion for the violin.
